“This Epic Illustrated adaptation by Roy Thomas and P. Craig Russell helped cement Michael Moorcock’s Elric in mainstream American comics. Marvel later reprinted the Epic Illustrated installments and completed the narrative with new chapters in Marvel Graphic Novel #2. Created in ink with watercolor over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10” x 15”. Lightly toned, with discolored production tape in the margins, and tape registration marks in the side margins. Signed by Russell in the bottom margin. In Very Good condition. From the P. Craig Russell Collection.”
